Anumodana & Aditthana Paramita
Dedication of Merits & Aspiration Parami

May all the merits accrued from my deeds through the body, speech & mind, be dedicated to all the Sammasambuddhas
the noble & perfectly self-enlightened, worthy of veneration & offering.
Thank you for finding it possible and sharing it.
May all the merits accrued pave the way for the realization of  the Four Noble Truths.
Thus have i heard: "All Buddhas teach for the realization of  the Four Noble Truths."
By the power of this Truth, may there be success in verifying the supreme Four Noble Truths at this moment, in this very life, within this Buddhasasana.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all the Pacceka Buddhas.
Thus have i heard: "The Pacceka Buddhas, the silent Buddhas attained the same release and enlightenment through realisation of these Four Noble Truths."
By the power of this Truth, may there be the release and enlightenment by the same Truths in this very life as a savaka, at this moment within this Buddhasasana.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to the supreme Dhamma.
The Dhamma, which is well expounded by the Buddha, immediately apparent, timeless, inviting one to come & see, progressive, verifiable by one's own.
Thus have i heard: "The Dhamma, when practised rightly, is the liberating way out of dukkha arising from inheriting this body & mind."
By the power of this Truth, may there be right practice and liberation within this Buddhasasana, within this very life time, at this moment.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to the noble Sangha.
The four types of Sangha members who practise happily, directly, rightly and truly.
It is indeed a blessing to be born in a period when the Buddha Dhamma is still being practised & the Sangha is still in existence.
Thus have i heard: "Encountering the Triple Gem in one's lifetime is indeed a blessing not be wasted by indulgence in defilements."
By the power of this Truth, may here a member of the Sangha be,
free from stains and a field of merits within this Buddhasasana, within this very life time, at this very moment.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to Brahma Sahampati for successfully persuaded the Sammasambuddha
to share the Dhamma for the sake of beings who had little dust in their eyes.
May the Brahma himself be liberated one day as a result of his noble deed of persuasion.
And may i be the being who has the little dust which will one day become dustless, and let that day be within this Buddhasasana, within this very life time, at this very moment.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all the members of the Sangha whose supreme effort have committed to memory the Buddha Dhamma all these years for the good of the many.
May this true Dhamma continue to spread far and wide.
Thus have i heard: "Even this Dhamma will not last and will eventually cease to be known, what more to be seen."
By the power of this Truth, may there arise the supreme effort for the continuing good of the many,
as the same effort be in striving for the seeing of Release, before this Dhamma ceases to be known.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to King Asoka and his retinue who had inscribed the Buddha's massive teaching for the prolonging good of the many.
May they successfully taste the bliss of their right effort.
Thus have i heard: "The efficacy of the Noble Eightfold Path is unsurpassed.
It is impossible not to arrive at the destination of Nibbana when the Path is successfully treaded upon."
By the power of this truth, may the Path be successfully treaded upon, the destination arrived at and the bliss tasted
as soon as the paramis are ripe in this very life time, within this Buddhasasana.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to my parents of this present life and also of innumerable previous lives. May they have the opportunity to come into contact and practise successfully the Buddha Dhamma.
May the Four Noble Truths be realized. May they rejoice and be well, happy, & peaceful.
Thus have i heard: "Realizing the Four Noble Truths is the highest blessing."
By the power of this Truth, may any obstacles hindering this dedication & rejoice be destroyed at this very moment.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all my teachers, spiritual and secular, of this present life and of innumerable previous lives.
May they have the opportunity to come into contact and continue to practise successfully the Buddha Dhamma till Nibbana.
Thus have i heard: "Nibbana is the state when complete cessation of dukkha is attained, without remitting."
By the power of this Truth, may there be the unremitting effort & success in attaining Nibbana in this very life time, within this Buddhasasana.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to the originators, transcriptors & translators of the True Dhamma materials. Their noble deeds have enabled Dhamma seekers the opportunity to see the brilliant Dhamma light.
May they live peacefully and harmoniously.
Thus have i heard: "The light from realising the Dhamma is far brighter than the brilliant sun!"
By the power of this Truth, may there be that brilliant light in this very life, at this very moment, within this Buddhasasana.
May all beings enjoy long peaceful and harmonious living.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all my guardians & protectors, relatives & friends.
May they be free from danger, and be well, happy & peaceful.
May they have the opportunity to come into contact with and practise the supreme Dhamma,
which is excellent in the beginning, excellent in the middle, & excellent in the end.
By the power of this Truth, may there be the attainment of the excellence in this very life, at this very moment, within this Buddhasasana.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all the Dhamma protectors, divine, human and others.
May these merits support them to carry out their noble deeds with wisdom & compassion.
Thus have i heard: "Vision arose, Knowledge arose, Wisdom arose, Higher Knowledge arose, Light arose
in the Buddha in regard to the realisation of the Four Noble Truths."
By the power of this Truth, may there be the arising of the Vision, the Knowledge, the Wisdom, the Higher Knowledge, the Light
within this within this Buddhasasana, within this very life time, at this very moment.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated to all the Dhamma propagators, including those who have shared the materials they found to be the true Dhamma on this website.
May they have the wisdom not to intrude, and the compassion to include.
Thus have i heard: "Some true Dhamma is intimately mixed with tainted ones."
By the power of this Truth, may there be that wisdom, by direct knowledge, to differentiate them without a doubt,
within this very life time, at this very moment, within this Buddhasasana.
May there arise the Knowledge and Vision of 'What is the Path' and 'What is not the Path'.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, be dedicated evenly to all beings friendly, neutral, & hostile without exceptions.
May there be the breaking of the barriers in the heart & the true experience of the jhanic bliss of the Brahmaviharas.
May all beings rejoice with this sharing, & be well, happy & blissful.
Thus have i heard: "Indeed this sharing of merits do work !"
By the power of this Truth, may i verify this Truth for my own.
May all who encounter hindrances in this rejoice, may these hindrances cease.
May all hindrances to the Path cease. May those who strive truthfully, attain the truth within this Buddhasasana, within this life time.

May all the merits accrued from my deeds in all three ways, may they be for only one sole purpose:
the complete cessation of dukkha.
May this purpose be achieved, as soon as the handful of leaves are known & seen.
May there be no distractions from knowing the unessential dhammas.
And thus may the same noble utterance echoed be:
"Unshakeable is this deliverance of my heart.
Lived is the holy life. Done is what needs to be done.
This is my last birth. There is no more becoming."
