19. Apparitions

paropahārāṃś ca bho dhutadharmadhara upaharanti samyakasṃbuddhāḥ satvānām anugrahārthaṃ || tadyathā kaliṃgarājñaḥ kusumāye devyā paropahāraṃ bhagavāṃ dhruvasya śreṣṭhino vacanopahāraṃ bhagavāṃ vṛttavāṃ ||

tathaiva ca rājagṛhe purottame
paropahāraṃ bhagavāṃ pravṛttavāṃ |
samutkarṣesi svavidhānakovido
upālino taṃ vacanopahāraṃ ||

tathā paraṃ merutaṭe samāgatāṃ
sa vādisiṃho vaśināṃ vaśī vaśī |
paropahāraṃ bhagavāṃ sa bhikṣu-
saṃghasya taṃ idam avacā mahāmunir iti ||

etāṃ sarvāṃ pravakṣyāmi upahārāṃ manoramāṃ |
tasya satvapradhānasya śṛṇu vikrīḍitaṃ śubhaṃ ||

utpanne puruṣaśreṣṭhe dharmacakre pravartite |
kaliṃgarājā kārayati rājyaṃ sphītam akaṇṭakaṃ ||

nāmena abhayo nāma tasyedaṃ darśanaṃ abhūt* |
śubhāśubhānāṃ karmāṇāṃ phalaṃ nāstīti niścayaḥ ||

paraloko tathā nāsti dānaphalaṃ kvacid yatra |
vītarāgo vītadoṣo vītamoho na vidyate ||

so taṃ ca darśanaṃ prāpya janatāṃ sannipātayet* |
svakāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ samākhyāti paścāc ca na nivartate ||

yadi mahyaṃ pitā bruyāt pratyakṣaṃ mama agrataḥ |
svayam upagamya evan tac chraddadhe tadā tathā ||

sarvadā sa tadā āsi śīlavāṃ maitramānaso |
yadi tasya phalam asti tasya devapuraṃ gatiḥ ||

devabhūto mama jñātvā imāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ vimocayet* |
ity uktvāsti paraloko dṛṣṭiṃ muñcāhi pāpakāṃ ||

yasya ca paralokasya pravṛttir nopalabhyate |
tasmāt pitā mamāgatvā saṃpraharṣayatu mānasaṃ ||

tato lokānukampārthaṃ kāruṇo mahadviśāradaḥ |
kaliṃgarājasya rūpaṃ nirmaṇati svayaṃ muniḥ ||

prāsādavaraṃ āruhya antaḥpuragato tathā |
antaḥpurasya darśeti yat taṃ prakṛtidarśanaṃ ||

tato sa nirmito rājā antarīkṣagatasthitaḥ |
rājānam abhayaṃ dhīro uvāca puruṣottamaḥ ||

parityajya svakāryāṇi parakāryeṣu vyāpṛtaḥ |
mithyādarśanasaṃyuktaṃ arājyaṃ rājyasaṃjñitaṃ ||

adya bhave gatī tubhyaṃ narako dāruṇo mahat* |
ye ca te darśayiṣyanti teṣām api ca sā gati ||

anyān* hi vihato hanti naṣṭo nāśayate parāṃ |
andhīkaroti anyā pi svayam andhavyapatrapo ||

sumuṣṭo muṣase anyā mṛto ca mārase parāṃ |
sukhitān api satvā tvaṃ duḥkhāpayasi durmate ||

nimagno kāmapaṃkasmiṃ gṛddhu kām eṣu mūrcchitaḥ |
paralokaṃ draṣṭukāmo dharmāṇāṃ nayanaṃ nṛpaḥ ||

asthānam etaṃ bhūmipati yas tvaṃ kāmaparāyaṇaḥ |
asamartho tahiṃ gantuṃ paralokam imaṃ prabho ||

āsvādaṃ pi tu kāmeṣu buddhvā doṣān tathaiva ca |
kāme niḥsaraṇajñasya te vai jāne paraṃparāṃ ||

etac chrutvā naraśreṣṭho abhayo kampito bhayāt* |
prahvo idam uvāca taṃ antarīkṣe sudarśanaṃ ||

śraddadhāmi taṃ te deva evam etaṃ nānyathā |
prasīda bhava me nātha abhayaṃ parimocaya ||

tadvasāntaḥpurāmātyaḥ śāstā me apratipudgalaḥ |
vinayavaśī tavāsmi tathānyā janatā bahu ||

paropahāra iti eṣas tena paramabuddhinā |
vṛtto anugrahārthāya satvānāṃ varabuddhinā ||

devī kusumbharājasya kusumā iti viśrutā |
iṣṭā kusumbharājasya strīsahasrāṇam uttamā ||

tasya mātā pitā caiva jīrṇā daṇḍaparāyaṇā |
dhītaram evam āhansu kusume putri he śṛṇu ||

vayaṃ jīrṇā tuvaṃ bālā kāmapralulitā asi |
icchema pratisṛjyantau icchema maraṇam ātmanaḥ ||

etac ca vacanaṃ śrutvā kusumā labhate mataṃ |
avarṇo yaṃ mama asyā yady ambātāto praghātyate ||

dāsyāmi viṣasaṃyuktaṃ bhaktam eṣāṃ sudāruṇaṃ |
bhuktvā yena ubhāv etau mariṣyanti na saṃśayaḥ ||

yadāsyā niścitā buddhi mātāpitṛṣu dāruṇā |
tato utpādaye śāstā kāruṇyaṃ kusumāṃ prati ||

tataḥ kusumāye śāstā mātaraṃ pitaraṃ tathā |
apanāmayati saṃbuddho anyau sthāpeti nirmitau ||

kusumā viṣasaṃyuktaṃ taṃ bhojanam āpadyati |
nirmitān āha bhuṃjantu ambā tāto ca bhojanaṃ ||

avikampamānā bhuṃjanti bhojanaṃ jinanirmitāḥ |
na caiṣāṃ bādhate kiṃcit kāyaṃ nirmitakā hi te ||

dvitīyaṃ divasaṃ caiva tṛtīyaṃ caturthaṃ paṃcamaṃ |
viṣasaṃyuktaṃ bhuktvāna sudhāṃ va yāpenti nirmitau ||

tataḥ kṛtāṃjalī bhūtvā kusumā nirmitāṃ bravīt* |
ātmānaṃ me nivedayatha anugrāhyā yadi ahaṃ ||

tāṃ yācamānāṃ prāñjalikāṃ kusumāṃ nirmitā bravīt* |
yā tavāpatti jānātha tathā ca anutiṣṭhatha ||

buddhaḥ puruṣaśārdūlaḥ dvātriṃśavaralakṣaṇaḥ |
utpannaḥ kulasaṃpannaḥ sarvavidyāguṇānvitaḥ ||

tasya sarvaṃ guṇābhūtaṃ atītānāgatasthitaṃ |
viditaṃ vādisiṃhasya atra vijaha saṃśayaṃ ||

prāsādavaram āruhya sastryāgāro sa pārthivaḥ |
yāced darśanam icchāma vayaṃ sarvārthadarśinaḥ ||

taṃ sarvaguṇasaṃpannaṃ vanditvā śaraṇaṃ vraje |
tato asmākaṃ yaṃ tatraiva pṛcchasi vakṣyate jino ||

sādhū ti pratiśrutvāna nirmitāṃ prati so tadā |
rājā sāntaḥpuro śīghraṃ prāsādam abhirūḍhavāṃ ||

satvaraṃ sa prahvo rājā sastryāgāro kṛtāṃjaliḥ |
imāṃ vyāharate rājā vācāṃ kusumayā saha ||

ye sarvaguṇasaṃpannā lokānām anukampakā |
gṛhītā atyantaṃ teṣāṃ sāñjalī saumanasyakā ||

tato amantraye śāstā śrāvakāṃ śāsane ratāṃ |
cāruvarṇaṃ siṃhahanuṃ dṛḍhabāhuṃ aninditaṃ ||

kīrtimantaṃ mahānāgaṃ ca cāturantaṃ mahābalaṃ |
nīlakeśaṃ ca buddhaṃ ca śāntaṃ sāstraviśāradaṃ ||

tathā śārasam atulyaṃ guptakāmam aninditaṃ |
siṃhanandiṃ viśālākṣaṃ lakṣaṇeyam anuttamaṃ ||

eṣa bhikṣavo gacchāmi śāstāram anubandhatha |
kusumāṃ pramukhāṃ kṛtvā vineṣyāmi bahuṃ janaṃ ||

sādhū ti te pratiśrutvā vaśībhūtā svayaṃbhuvaḥ |
parivārayitvā saṃbuddhaṃ idaṃ vacanam āhu te ||

asmākaṃ pi pādo vīrā vihaṃgamadhyam akramaḥ |
anuyāsyāma saṃbuddhaṃ yatra gacchati cakṣumāṃ ||

nimeṣāntareṇa saṃprāpto bhagavāṃ śiṣyasaṃvṛtaḥ |
nagaraṃ kusumāyās tu anukampāya prāṇināṃ ||

ākāraṃ vajrapāṇisya nāyako abhinirmiṇe |
devasaṃghaṃ ca manasā dhyāye dhyānaviśāradaḥ ||

prabhā­maṇḍalam utsṛje yojanāni caturdaśa |
devatā ca abhivādenti yātrāṃ paramabuddhinaḥ ||

tato ca kusumā devī prahvī sugatam abravīt* |
eṣā te prāñjalī nātha pādāṃ icchāmi vanditaṃ ||

tataḥ pratiṣṭhito śāstā prāsādavaramūrdhani |
prabhayā ca diśā sarvā abhibhūya yaśaskaraḥ ||

tato ca kusumā devī saha rājñā jinakramāṃ |
vandate parivāro ca deviye narapuṅgavaṃ ||

śaraṇaṃ tvāṃ naraśreṣṭha gacchāma suravandita |
mātaraṃ pitaraṃ hatvā kīdṛśaṃ labhate phalaṃ ||

śṛṇohi kusume satyaṃ mātāpitṛvadhe phalaṃ |
anantaraṃ mahāvīciṃ narakaṃ upapadyate ||

tato buddhānubhāvena śāstā vadathakovidaḥ |
kusumāyā mahāvīciṃ upadarśeti nāyakaḥ ||

tato ca kusumā devī nirayaṃ trasya dāruṇaṃ |
aśruvegaṃ pramuñcantī idaṃ vacanam abravīt* ||

mātāpitṛbhyāṃ kāruṇikā duṣṭacittasya kidṛśaṃ |
paraloke phalaṃ bhavati yat satyaṃ tad udīraya ||

duṣṭacittasya kusume taṃ cittaṃ syād amuñciyaṃ |
tad eva paralokasmiṃ phalaṃ sadyaṃ ca hiṃsayā ||

tato ca pratiniḥsṛjati kusumā dāruṇaṃ manaṃ |
purato dharmarājasya prītisukhasamarpitā ||

tato kāmāna āsvādaṃ bhāṣate sarvakovidaḥ |
ādīnavaṃ ca kāmānāṃ bhāṣate puruṣottamaḥ ||

tato kāmānāṃ niḥsaraṇaṃ bhāṣate cintyavikramaḥ |
guṇān vadati nirvāṇe adbhutāṃ bhūtadarśimān ||

kusumāṃ pramukhāṃ kṛtvā koṭīyo dvādaśa muniḥ |
mānuṣāṇāṃ vinayati upahāro ayaṃ iti ||

dhruvo nāma abhūc chreṣṭhī nagare kāśivardhane |
tasyedaṃ darśanaṃ pāpaṃ mātāpitṛsamāgame ||

yo mātaraṃ ca pitaraṃ ca jīrṇakaṃ gatayauvanaṃ |
jñātipakṣaṃ samānetvā bhakṣyabhojyena tarpayet* ||

agniskandhe ca jvalite dāhayeya pitṝn ubhau |
upahāro vidhātavyo tasya puṇyam anantakaṃ ||

rākṣasīnāṃ sahasrāṇi nāyako abhinirmiṇi |
prāsādavarasuptasya dhruvasya purataḥ sthitā ||

daṇḍahastā kaśāhastā śaktihastā tathaiva ca |
kuṭhārahastā asihastā ulkāhastā tathaiva ca ||

atha tomarahastā ca nārācaśatapāṇiyo |
kuntamudgarahastāś ca śreṣṭhisya purataḥ sthitāḥ ||

dhikkṛtāṃ dhikkṛtāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ prāpto ’si puruṣādhamā |
dhikkṛtaṃ mithyātvam āsādya na śraddadhitum arhasi |
ye te duṣkarakartāraḥ ye te pūrvopakāriṇaḥ |
maitracittā āpanneṣu teṣu tvaṃ vadham icchasi ||

yeṣāṃ na śakyaṃ pratikartuṃ apatyena kathaṃcana |
sarvaratnaṃ pi dadatā teṣāṃ tvaṃ vadham icchasi ||

jīvitāt te mṛtaṃ śreyo na ca darśanam īdṛśaṃ |
yaḥ tvaṃ supuruṣācīrṇaṃ darśanaṃ pratibādhase ||

adya te jīvitaṃ nāsti sabhāryasya sabandhunaḥ |
sabhṛtyasya saputrasya pretya ca nirayaṃ gatiḥ ||

imaṃhi nāma evaṃ vā māriṣa bhadram astu vaḥ |
mithyādarśanasampannaṃ mūḍḥāpaṇḍitamānasaṃ ||

parāṃ anyāṃ pi janatāṃ grāhentaṃ pāpadarśanaṃ |
dhruvaṃ śreṣṭhiṃ vināśema āryadarśanakutsakaṃ ||

etan tu vacanaṃ śrutvā dhruvo udvignamānasaḥ |
sasvinnagātro prahvaś ca babhūva trastamānasaḥ ||

bhrāntacitto diśovekṣī trasto bhavati mānasaḥ |
kṛtāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā idaṃ vacanam abravīt* ||

rakṣogaṇo prasīdaṃtu parivārasya mahya ca |
yuṣme gatiś ca lenaś ca mama śaraṇam eva ca ||

ājñāpayatha kiṃ kṛtvā mahyādya abhayaṃ bhave |
mama sabandhuvargasya na cāgaccheya durgatiṃ ||

te ca bravīnsu bhūtagaṇā dhruvaṃ śreṣṭhiṃ nabhe sthitā |
mā asmākaṃ śaraṇaṃ gaccha tam eva śaraṇaṃ vraja ||

hitaiṣiṇaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ buddhaṃ dhutajanārcitaṃ |
sarvalokottaraṃ vādiṃ śākyasiṃhaṃ manoramaṃ ||

kahin nu so + + + + + + bhagavāṃ bhūtavandito |
vayaṃ pi taṃ naraśreṣṭhaṃ gacchema śaraṇaṃ muniṃ ||

eṣo sarvaguṇopetaḥ pure ratanakholake |
nānākusumasaṃcchanne udyāne gandhamādane ||

vaśī­bhūta­sahas­rāṇāṃ navatīhi puraskṛto |
vihārakuśalo dhīro tatra viharate muniḥ ||

taṃ tvaṃ śaraṇaṃ gacchāhi sarvehi jñātibhiḥ saha |
taṃ ca paśya narādityaṃ tāṃ ca dṛṣṭiṃ parityaja ||

yaṃ ca so deśate dharmaṃ dṛṣṭāntavihitaṃ śubhaṃ |
taṃ ca prajñāya paśyāhi evan te jīvitaṃ bhavet* ||

agatvā ca tuvaṃ śreṣṭhi na dhruvaṃ pratipatsyase |
idan te maraṇaṃ sadyaṃ taṃ śraddhāno samācara ||

tataḥ śreṣṭhi sabandhujano bhūtvā sudīnamānaso |
mūrdhinā patito bhūmau yato so puruṣottamaḥ ||

sarvākāraguṇopeto mahākāruṇiko muni |
sabandhupakṣo śaraṇaṃ upemi tvā mahāyaśā ||

bhītasya bhayāntakara abhayaṃ dātum arhasi |
sapakṣo bho mahāsatva ahaṃ bhayaparāyaṇo ||

icchāmi caraṇaṃ śāstuḥ vandituṃ vādināṃ vara |
draṣṭum icchāmi satpuruṣaṃ anugrāhyā yadi vayaṃ ||

tato abhyudgato śāstā vaśībhūtapuraskṛtaḥ |
nimeṣāntareṇa saṃprāpto satvānukampāya nāyakaḥ ||

taṃ dṛṣṭvā gagaṇe sthitaṃ dāntaṃ kṣāntaṃ puraskṛtaṃ |
saumanasyaṃ samutpannaṃ śreṣṭhisya saha bandhubhiḥ ||

śaraṇaṃ vādiśārdūlaṃ śreṣṭhī tatra upāgataḥ |
sujātadarśanatvaṃ ca śreṣṭhī paryadhigacchasi ||

tasyātyayaṃ naraśreṣṭho parigṛhya tathāgato |
satyavādī udīreti satyāni caturā muniḥ ||

śubhāśubhānāṃ karmāṇāṃ phalaṃ vistaraśo vibhuḥ |
prakāśaye narādityo siṃho vā nadate vane ||

siṃhanādaṃ imaṃ śrutvā śreṣṭhi parijanaiḥ saha |
prāpnoti madhuraṃ satyaṃ phalaṃ prathamake kṣaṇe ||

yat tasya parikarma tat kṛtaṃ pana maharṣiṇā |
tam āhur upahāro ti sarvadharmaviśāradāḥ ||

tarur nāma abhū rājā dvīpe kasmiṃ ci sāgare |
tasya darśanam utpannaṃ pāpakaṃ bāliśapriyaṃ ||

yo brāhmaṇaṃ vā śramaṇaṃ vā anyaṃ vāpi vanīyakaṃ |
āmantretvā na bhojayate tam āhuḥ śreṣṭhalakṣaṇaṃ ||

mahājanaṃ nimantretvā bahuṃ ca śūdrabrāhmaṇāṃ |
yo bubhukṣāyam āneti kṛtvā kārānibandhanaṃ ||

uttarāgamane kulavā maheśākhyo mahāyaśāḥ |
prabhūtavastrābharaṇo tatra so copapadyate ||

grāheti janatāṃ rājā evaṃ pāpena cetasā |
te tasya vacanaṃ śrutvā śraddadhāti mahājanaḥ ||

etaṃ darśanaṃ vijñāya devagandharvavanditaḥ |
paṃca bhikṣusahasrāṇi kṣaṇena nirmiṇe muniḥ ||

te taṃ dvīpam upāgamya tarur yatra janādhipaḥ |
rājyaṃ pālayate tatra caṃkramiṣu vaśīgaṇā ||

te tu narādhipo dṛṣṭvā nirmitā bhikṣuvarṇitā |
vāhanato taritvāna vanditvā pādam abravīt* ||

nimantrayāmi ṛṣayo prīto bhaktena tattvataḥ |
adhivāsensu me ṛṣayo anugrāhyā yadi vayaṃ ||

adhivāsitaṃ viditvā tato nirdhāvate punaḥ |
pādāṃ vanditvā ṛṣīṇāṃ gato rājakulaṃ svakaṃ ||

rātriṃ prabhātāṃ vijñāya rājapuruṣam abravīt* |
gaccha tvaṃ ṛṣayopagamya siddhena tvaṃ nimantraya ||

te ca praveśitā rājñā ṛṣi veśam atyadbhutaṃ |
śaraṇyaṃ guṇasaṃpannaṃ dṛḍhārgalasuyantritaṃ ||

saptāhe samatikrānte rājā tāṃ pratyavekṣate |
adīnamukhavarṇāś ca dhyāyante bhikṣuvarṇitā ||

so bhūyaḥ parivarjetvā nirmitā manujādhipaḥ |
dvitīyaṃ samatikramya dvitīye pratyavekṣate ||

tṛtīye ca caturthe ca paṃcame ṣaṣṭhasaptame |
navame daśame saptāhe idaṃ vacanam abravīt* ||

devā ca nāgā gandharvā yakṣā ca guhyakāsurā |
āgatā ṛṣirūpeṇa mama saṃvegakāraṇāt* ||

nivedayatha ātmānam anugrāhyā yadi vayaṃ |
athāsmākam anugrāhyo ātmānaṃ parivedaye ||

anugrāhyo ’si bhūmipate idaṃ vacanam uvāca te |
yad vayaṃ vacanaṃ brūma tathā tam anutiṣṭhata ||

eṣo kāśīpure śāstā vārāṇasyāṃ vane śubhe |
pāragaḥ sarvadharmāṇāṃ sarvasaṃśayasūdanaḥ ||

prāsādavaram āruhya yāce prahvaḥ sabāndhavaḥ |
icchāma puruṣaśreṣṭhaṃ draṣṭum apratipudgalaṃ ||

sa etat vacanaṃ śrutvā tatheti udapādayi |
atha vaihāyasaṃ śāstā taṃ dvīpam upasaṃkramīt* ||

vaśībhūtāś ca catvāro kuṃjaro karabhogajaḥ |
vāraṇo ’tha mahādhyāyī manāpo ’tha samāgatā ||

te paśyitūna saṃbuddhaṃ virocantaṃ śaśiprabhaṃ |
tathā stuvanti prāṃjaliyo bhūtadharmaguruṃ guru ||

prasannacittā sumanā sarvākāraguṇānvitā |
nātha marumanuṣyāṇāṃ namas te naralambaka ||

ko nāma tvaṃ mahāsatva mahātejā mahādyute |
mahābuddhi mahābāhu yathātatham udīraya ||

rāja­vaṃ­śasamutpanno dharmarājyapratiṣṭhitaḥ |
śaraṇaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ ahaṃ buddha iti viduḥ ||

ahaṃ marumanuṣyāṇāṃ nātho netā cikitsakaḥ |
ahaṃ saṃśayāntakaraḥ saṃbuddho devavanditaḥ ||

etat śrutvā taru rājā saṃbuddham idam abravīt* |
namas te vādiśārdūla sarvasaṃśayasūdana ||

prāsādavaram āruhya sabandhupakṣo sajjanā |
sarāṣṭro śaraṇaṃ gacchāmi tasya no śaraṇaṃ bhava ||

svakaṃ ca darśanaṃ rājā samākhyāti maharṣiṇaḥ |
tac chrutvā naraśārdūlo rājānam idam abravīt* ||

na te lābhā bhūmipate yas tvaṃ durgatigāminaṃ |
pāpaṃ śraddadhase mārgantāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ pratiniḥsṛja ||

tāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ pratiniḥsṛjya rājā vacanam abravīt* |
dharmam ākhyāhi māṃ dhīra yatra duḥkhaṃ nirudhyate ||

tasya ca dharmasaṃyuktaṃ bhāvaye puruṣottamaḥ |
kuśalaṃ sarvasatvānāṃ buddhadharmaviśāradaḥ ||

so taṃ dharmaṃ vijānitvā rājā parijanaiḥ saha |
trīṇi saṃyojanāṃ tyaktvā prāptavāṃ prathamaṃ phalaṃ ||

asaṃkhyeyā ca janatā prāptavān prathamaṃ phalaṃ |
paśya satpuruṣā rājaṃ maitriyā balam uttamaṃ ||

ye tatra nirmitā bhikṣūḥ na caite bhikṣuṇo matā |
upahāraṃ vadanty etaṃ jinā śāstraviśāradāḥ ||

asthānam eva jinaputra yadā sthūlāhi bhūmihi |
tat pure adhigaccheyuḥ sarvajñatvaṃ tathāgatāḥ ||

kālaṃ va nātināmenti paripūrṇāhi bhūmihi |
darśensu vādiśārdūlā ity evaṃ puruṣottamā ||

vārāṇasīṃ vanaṃ gatvā buddhadharmapuraskṛto |
vistareṇa prakāśayati nāyako bhūmayo daśa ||

nayānayajñāḥ saṃbuddhāḥ sarvaparamataṃ viduḥ |
adhyāśayaṃ parīkṣanti jātakā sarvaprāṇināṃ ||

madhureṇa sugītena nayena guṇadarśinaḥ |
suvinītā bahu janatā saṃbuddhena prajānatā ||

na jāyanti na jīryanti na mṛyanti kathaṃcana |
paramaṃ mitram āsādya vinītā varabuddhinā ||

gambhīracaritaṃ dhīrā prajānanti parasparaṃ |
anantapratibhānaṃ ca sarve sarvāṅgaśobhanā iti ||

iti śrīmahāvastu-avadāne abhiṣekavatī nāma daśamā bhūmiḥ samāptā ||

śikhare gṛddhakūṭasmiṃ pañcānāṃ vaśībhūtaśatānāṃ samavāye daśabhūmikaṃ nāma upadeśamukhaṃ bhāṣitaṃ ||

samāptaṃ daśabhūmikaṃ ||

ye satvā buddhatvāya praṇidhenti tehi uddeśitavyaṃ daśabhūmikaṃ bodhisatvānāṃ ca dṛṣṭasatyānāṃ śraddadhānānāṃ dātavyaṃ nānyeṣāṃ ete hy atra śraddadhānā anye vicikitseyuḥ ||

samāptā ādibhūmi yāvad daśamā daśabhūmayaḥ mahāvastuparisaraṃ ||
